flower trees and thumbscrews

as the details of torture and abuse (sorry, "enhanced interrogation") trickle out, the canadian government's membership in the natoland torture state consensus becomes harder for even the most shameless apologists to deny. saving canadian lives is the latest justification. lives that are at risk because they are doing things to piss people off half way around the planet. like imposing a brutal military occupation in support of vicious and corrupt local narco elites. the world is run by murderers and theives, most of whom wear suits and ties to hide the blood on their hands and the loot in their pockets. these are war crimes. how much longer do we underwrite them with our silence and obedience?
