dear reader(s)

howdy
the first shipment of panels has finally arrived and
first coat of gesso is down

there'll be sixteen paintings in total, four at 4x5' and the rest at 3x4' -- that's the ambition in any case

the studies have been showing here for some time the work will fill the upstairs lobby at the gctc theatre in ottawa in conjunction with the opening of a play called the children's republic.

also in play are the series of paintings to show in halifax at the 2nd annual nocturne festival on october 17.

all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. but i ain't jack.

stay tuned.

and in the meantime, give this a read:

because...

hierarchy (the rule of priests) demands
patriarchy (the rule of fathers) obeys
war is the health of the state
peace is bad for business
and robbing a bank is no crime like owning one
