for whatever parliamentary politics is worth these days... get off your dead asses and dust off the coalition. get past your egos and throw out the petty dictators for whom democracy, even in its most limited form, is a constraint to be avoided rather than a mode of social organization to be promoted and extended, for example into the economy. of course the upper class twit of the year won't have the unconstrained power the exercise of which he criticizes (in envy) from across the aisle, but at least he'll be able to realize his schoolyard dream of becoming prime minister. not bad for a self-described "american". bunch of wankers.
