east coast union rep kyle jackson sends his bird's eye view of the city around the citadel -- i wish i'd painted that one.
you'll find kyle hosting the opening for this window display at gus' pub in halifax from 5pm to 6pm on thursday june 25. not to be missed if you are in range.

there's life in the old laundromat yet...

in fact yesterday there were half a dozen people knocking at my door with bags of dirty laundry looking for a clean fix -- perhaps a sign that i am in the wrong business. i suspect the laundry racket would be far more rentable than the painting racket is these days. more useful methinks too, although maybe i should just take down the sign.
