little current, population 1 501

i've moved into a painting.
now residing on a dusty street in a northern town,
overlooking a century of buildings
to the north channel and a 10 000 year old view,
pinching myself to death.
'look on my good fortune ye mighty and despair'...
or something like that.

first two paintings:
view from mclean's mountain
ruins at little current
(both oil on glass)

it's been hot and cold
with ants and drunks
and neighbours across the drywall
fighting, fucking and otherwise living --
